Day #88 - Get Used To It

It may look like this song is unfinished, but really I was just finished writing for it. Without a structure to continue with, it's best just to leave the lyrical ideas at a comfortable spot and then force them together and apart when you have an actual tune to work with. So here's "Get Used To It".

---

You've caught the train
So late
You're in for it this time
The eyes
of straight right
Are idling this time
And who
Were you
When the world came a knocking?
Cause you remind me of someone that I seen before
Yeah remind me of someone that I seen before
And I can't place my finger but I'm sure you'll agree
You remind me of someone not like me

You're here now
So get used to it [x4]

You've caught your breath
So late
You've punctured your insides
The eyes
Of straight right
Are glowering red light
And where
Were you
When the world came a knocking?
Cause you look like you've seen what I've seen before
Yeah look like you've seen what I've seen before
And I can't quite tell but I'm sure you'll agree
It's not a place where you'd fine me

You're here now
So get used to it [x4]
